Renuka Shahane calls Vinta Nanda, Sandhya Mridul and Deepika Amin 'brave' women for coming out in open with their stories

Soon after Tanushree Dutta revealed that Nana Patekar harassed her on the sets of ‘Horn Ok Pleassss’, many women shared their own experiences in the industry. With this, the #MeToo movement gained momentum in India.

Earlier, producer Vinta Nanda accused Alok Nath of raping her. Soon, actress Sandhya Mridul also shared her #MeToo story where she revealed about Alok Nath’s indecent behaviour with her.

It was not just the rape allegations on Alok Nath, but the allegations on Vikas Bahl and Utsav Chakroborty also were unexpected. Vikas Bahl was accused of sexual harassment by actresses Kangana Ranaut, Nayani Dixit among others in the team, while Utsav was accused of sending pictures of his private parts to women.

Recently, actress Deepika Amin too opened up about her encounter with Sanskari Babuji’s other side.

Now, actress Renuka Shahane took to her to praise these women and extended her support. She tweeted, “I remember you sharing this with me many many years ago. Brave of you to come out & talk about this harassment. You, @sandymridul & @vintananda My heart goes out to you brave women.”
