Anthony Bourdain fans have a drop of good news in this squall of mourning.
This past Sunday, CNN aired the already-scheduled episode of Parts Unknown just two days after learning of its star’s tragic death.
Bourdain died before completing the episode he was working on in France, but there are still two already finished at the time. Thankfully, CNN has now announced they will air them as intended.
The first, airing June 17 at 9 p.m. EST, will focus on Cajun culture in New Orleans during Mardi Gras.
The series finale will now be Bourdain’s trip to Bhutan, a kingdom known for its view of the Himalayan mountains, with Black Swan director Darren Aronofsky. That will air June 24.
Two more hours may not be much, but it’s one more chance to say goodbye.
