CBSE Class 10, Class 12 exam paper leak: CBSE to re-conduct Class 12th Economics, Class 10th Maths exams
After reports of data leak in some papers in CBSE Board Exam 2018, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) today announced it will re-conduct examinations for the CBSE Class 12 Economics and Class 10 Mathematics papers. It said the dates would be announced in a week.
“Board has taken cognizance of certain happenings in the conduct of certain examinations as are being reported,” said CBSE in a circular. It added the examinations are being reconducted to uphold the sanctity of the board exams and in the interest of the fairness to the students.
There were reports of the Maths and Economics papers of Class X and XII respectively, being leaked on chat platforms. This led to an uproar.
The CBSE Board had earlier denied any paper leaks but panic had gripped students of class 12 and class 10 following claims of the leak on social media.
