October 'Tab Bhi Tu' song: Varun Dhawan-Banita Sandhu's heart-wrenching song will leave you teary eyed

Just like the trailer of October, the new song ‘Tabh Bhi Tu’ from Varun Dhawan and Banita Sandhu speaks volumes about love, loneliness and heartbreaks.

For all those who have felt isolated in love and dealt with tough times of separation from the lover, the song ‘Tabh bhi tu’ is meant for you. Unlike his fun film ‘Judwaa 2’, Varun Dhawan looks completely different in this film. No larger than life character this time around, Shoojit Sircar has portrayed two completely contrasting shades of his character in the film- his professional struggles in the hotel industry and when he is trying to pull himself together.

The song captures the scenic beauty of Manali and expressions of the two lead actors beautifully.

At the trailer launch Varun revealed that the filmmaker asked him to change his habit of checking his phone immediately after getting out of the bed and instead connect with nature and just observe. Well, in this song it just shows.

In an interview to BollywoodLife, Varun Dhawan had earlier said, “I went to Shoojit and told him to take me in a film, I told him ‘Please make a film with me.’ Three months went by and Shoojit and Juhi saw me in that character from October and that’s how it happened. But the process of getting into October was very different from what I’ve done ever before. I had to be prepared to be spun around on my head because with the concepts in the film, if I was saying a dialogue like a dialogue, then it wouldn’t work. The dialogues had to be felt and delivered like they were my own words. Just understanding that was difficult! Shoojit wanted me to live the character and not just come and act it out. So no make up, for days no sleep, no phone and much more. There was a piece of music that he had given me, which I would listen to, get into that zone and reach the set. Everyday, he would remove my make up and spoil my hair. No glycerine, I was just doing what was meant to be done.”

The film is all set to release on April 13th, 2018
