'Proudest father' Amitabh Bachchan reveals Shweta Bachchan is going to make her debut, not as an actress

Born to legendary actors like Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan, their eldest child Shweta Bachchan had no aspiration to become an actress.

But she makes Amitabh Bachchan ‘the proudest father’ and says ‘my daughter greatest’ as she continues to carry the family’s legacy forward.  Just like her grandfather Harivansh Rai Bachchan, Shweta is also going to create magic with words. Her debut novel is going to titled ‘Paradise Towers’ and will be available at the bookstores in October 2018. Big B is excited about her daughter’s new innings and shared the details on Twitter.

Shweta’s book is not going to be an autobiography like Karan Johar’s ‘The Unsuitable Boy’ or Soha Ali Khan’s ‘Perils of Being Moderately Famous’, her book is being described as ‘a heart-warming slice-of-life novel set in a Mumbai apartment’ by the publishers.

Interestingly, Shweta Bachchan has also been DNA’s celebrity columnist in the past and that makes even more excited about her debut as an author.

Abhishek Bachchan’s sister Shweta is married to Delhi-based businessman Nikhil Nanda and are parents to Navya Naveli and Agastya. Shweta is often seen juggling between the two cities to spend quality time with her parents. She was also there at Jaya Bachchan’s 71st birthday recently.

On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan has 102 Not Out, Thugs of Hindostan and Brahmastra in the pipeline. Abhishek Bachchan has also returned to the sets after two years and will be soon seen in Anurag Kashyap’s ‘Manmarziyaan’.
