Making most of Friday the 13th, makers of Stranger Things released an intense trailer for Season Two. The second season is set to debut on Octorber 27, to take advantage of Halloween weekend, on Netflix. According to the synopsis, “It’s 1984 and the citizens of Hawkins, Indiana are still reeling from the horrors of the Demogorgon and the secrets of Hawkins Lab. Will Byers has been rescued from the Upside Down but a bigger, sinister entity still threatens those who survived.”
The new trailer shows Eleven, played by Millie Bobby Brown, finally come back to claim her Eggos, but that is the least normal thing that’s happening in Hawkins.
The world is about to end in that universe and new teams are seen forming. Dustin Henderson, played by Gaten Matarazzo, is going ‘clubbing’ with Steve Harrington, played by Joe Keery. Nancy Wheeler and Johnathan Byers are continuing the special friendship they forged after the incidents of last season.
Will’s mother, Joyce Byers (Winona Ryder) and Sherrif Jim Hopper (David Harbour) are trying to solve the mystery of what happend to her boy. Do pay attention to small nods to Reagan-Bush era, Ghostbusters craze, and their drive to be the Karate Kid. Happy Friday the 13th everyone!
